I have been completely fascinated by the demoscene
ever since I started coming to Assembly in 2020.

Finally, I found the courage to participate :)

This demo started with the song since I am first
and foremost a musician. We held a music camp
with some friends at a cottage by the lake Evijärvi
in 19.-22.6.2025. I played around with the Nexus
synth plugin in Logic and created the instrumental
song used in the demo. In addition, I used other
software instruments and Splice samples.

The coding part was a learning journey. My coding
skills are limited to quite basic knowledge.

I stumbled upon the Raylib library, which seemed
beginner-friendly enough and used this opportunity
to learn what might be possible to do with it. I decided
to use it and practice my C++ skills along the way.
I started out with the idea of a car driving along a
neon-synthwave-styled road. Once I nailed the basic
scene, I started building from there.

I got help and inspiration from many parts of
the Internet, the Raylib examples are especially
helpful: https://www.raylib.com/examples.html

Special thanks to Assyukot for inspiring me to come to
Assembly in the first place. Thanks to the whole
demoscene! You are an inspiration of creativity!

Best wishes,
Will Hillfield
