A glimpse of the past that never was.

In 1992, having completed In the Kitchen, Slammer and Solnova of Anarchy talked about how all of Anarchy's productions were ... polished. Pretty. Slick. Boring? Not ... what comes to mind when you think "Anarchy".
"Anarchy in UK"? Not quite.

Solnova, inspired by punk bands such as Hüsker Dü, wanted to do a punk demo - named "How to Skin a Cat" after Hüsker Dü's 1985 dance floor filling hit song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFjgVPG_C9A)

Concept - the ugliest, nastiest, most unpleasant demo. Do what Anarchy hadn't.

Solnova drew some shit. Slammer coded some shit. For inspiration, Controller by Bruno was used as a soundtrack (which is very far from being shit).

Shit was put on disks and sent back and forth across the Great Belt of Denmark regularly.

This disk is one of those things, full of shit.

But then Anarchy died.

Solnova and Slammer were out of a job. Being close friends with Seen, joining Melon was an obvious choice, and they took their demo with them.

And here we are.

The demo that was supposed to be ugly, nasty and unpleasant, became a Melon production. 

Yes, the irony is not lost on me.

In this preview, there are several things that appeared in the final Melon production, and many that didn't. It's two guys fucking around with music, graphics and code, and putting random shit on a disk with a trackloader.

It's "hey, look what I've done since last time". It's "hey, this is how your graphics will look when we make the demo."

It's not a demo.

It just ... is.
